We’re seeing a lot of chatter around the Internets the past couple of days that Tiger Woods will probably shut it down for the rest of the 2011 season. Not really a surprise. Tiger’s current swing coach Sean Foley told Steve Elling of CBS Sports:

“We have not hit any balls,” Foley wrote Tuesday night. “And I have no idea what his plans are as far as when he plays again. It’s up to the doctors.”
