In the midst of the birth certificate sideshow, President Obama and Darrelle Revis had the opportunity to meet briefly last night at a private fundraising dinner. You wouldn’t think these two would have much in common, right?

“The president said to me, ‘How is the island?’ I laughed and said, ‘It’s good and I’m keeping it covered. Deep down, I can’t believe it that the president of the United States would know about Revis Island. It was an incredible experience.”

Regardless of your political views you’ve got to admit, Obama is one cool Hawaiian sports lovin’ dude.
